MUSICAL PROGRAMME
E.S.U. Social For Members
Concerted items, some accompanied and others unaccompanied, were given as part of a delightful •mtisical programme by the Orpheus Sextet at the English-Speaking Union women members’ monthly social in Wellington yesterday afternoon. Solos were included, sung by Mrs. Maude and Mrs. Goodwin, and duets were given by Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Cole. r J’lie accompanist was Mrs. V. Eauvell. Mrs. Goodwin played a violin solo. The large audience thoroughly appreciated the presentations and by special request the sextet concluded with “Sleep, Kentucky Babe. Mrs. E. D. Good welcomed visitors. Spring flowers and an abundance of produce and home-made goods found ready stile on the “bring and buy” stall, the proceeds going to the war work group.
