WORKERS FOR REICH
Arabs From French North Africa (Received July 28, 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 27. The German economic journal, “Deutsche Volkswirt” revealed that M. Laval has agreed to send thousands of Arabs from French North Africa for work on German farms and also industries. These workers will be accommodated in camps, where they will be trained for jobs and remain under constant supervision. Germany cannot afford to allow to be idle one single hand which could help to achieve victory. The battle of production will reach a vital stage in the spring of 1943..
