Once again Mr. and Mrs. Lt. Sutherland. Kurort. Wellington, will open the beautiful grounds of ••Homewood" on behalf of the Wellington Eree Kindergarten on .Sunday afternoon. December 1. This will be I lie first time these grounds have been open this season, ami guests .-ire assured of a delightful afternoon's entertainment. Christmas carols will be sung on the large lawn in front of the house at 3 p.m., led by the Boys’ Institute Band and the Bohemian Male Choir. The most beautiful of Ihe enrols have lieen chosen for this occasion and the entertainment is one which will appeal to very large numbers of people. The gates will bo open at 2 p.m. and the singing of the enrols will eoinmenee at 3 p.m. Tim lawn til "Homeward” is an ideal spot for a community sing of iliis kind. Programmes will be distributed free, ami it is anticipated that this will be one of the most successiui entertainments of its kind ever held in Wellington.
