KING HAAKON SHOWS CONFIDENCE

Reconquest Of Norway (Received May 8, 7.5 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, May 8. King Haakon of Norway in a proclamation said: “We still occupy strong positions from which, with the help that is now being planned, we will reconquer the rest of Norway. The Germans in Norway are not practising war •but murder and arson. Every house destroyed, every assassination of defenceless citizens strengthens the people in their resolution to throw out the invaders."
