CONVERSION OF BUS ALLEGED
♦ Two Men Remanded Charges of unlawfully, converting a motor-omnibus and of being intoxicated while in charge of it in Main Road, Karori were preferred against James Sherwood Manchester, motor-driver and farmer,-and Alfred James Sherwan, busdriver, when they appeared before Mr. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrates Court, Wellington, yesterday. The bus was stated to be the property of Rongotai Buses, 1939-40, Ltd., and its value was given ns £9OO. On the application of Sub-Inspector L. Il Capp. Manchester and Sherwan, for whom Mr. W. F. Ongley appeared, were remanded till tomorrow.
