CHILD FOUND DROWNED
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, May 6. Evidence at an inquest nito (lie death of a two-year-old Maori child, who was found drowned in a stream near Horahora, revealed difficulties incidental to residence in an out of tiie wav district. The boy’s father, Mr. Edward Wei, went shooting after finishing milking. His wife later found the boy floating in the stream. He was dead. Strapping her two-monf h's-old child on her bncli she spent, five hours searching Im- her husband. A confidence is that Mr. Wei's .lirst wife, the mother of the dead boy. was found dead floating in the stream al almost the same spot lust year. ■
