PIONEER RELICS SHOWN TO FOUNDERS' SOCIETY
Members of the women’s committee of tho New Zealand Founders’ Society receutly met at the home of Mrs. E. Halley, Wellington, to entertain Misses Marnie and Lilia Spicer, Auckland, and
to view the interesting photographs of typical dresses worn by pioneer New Zealand women as far back as 1826. Miss Marnie Spicer showed other interesting historical material of particular interest to the society, including family Bibles aud a genealogical tree. Others present were Mesdames D. D. Beattie, M. Berti, P. 11. Brown, D. Bryan, A. Buruard, M. D. Crosthwait, JI. B. Judd, J. McKeown, and L. J. Sangster, Misses I. Bull, B. Cannon, A. Fraser, C. 11. Gillespie, A. Halley, W. L. Helliwell and E. B. Parker,
