CHARITY BALL

Plans Discussed

Supporters of the anritial Charity Ball met this week in the St. Vinceui de Paul Society’s rooms. Wellington, to plan-for this year’s ball. Mr. P. D. Hoskins presided in the absence of the Rev. Dri Mcßae.

It was decided, to hold the ball on June 5 in the Town Hall. Every effort is to be made to achieve a record result this year. Applications from those who desire to be presented to his Grace Archbishop O’Shea as debutantes are to close on May 27. The Rev. Dr. LMcßae was appointed president, Mr. P. D. Hoskins general supervisor, and Colonel J. G. Roache general secretary. The following were appointed conveners of the committees: Messrs. P. Doogan and J. W. M. Smith, supper committee; Messrs. F. Eller and M’. McElligott, decorations committee; Mr. P. Hazeldon, hall committee; Mr. H. Ryan, invitations committee; Mr. Pat Lawlor, publicity committee.
