LYCEUM CLUB

Evening Entertainment By Circle Members Members of the Wellington Lyceum Club and a number of friends were present at an enjoyable concert in the club rooms last night, arranged by the ‘‘Thursday evening” circle, assisted by visiting artists. Miss Florence George ■produced the programme, assisted by the circle leader, Miss Marjorie Mulford. An interesting programme was presented, and at the conclusion of the items supper was served. The stage had been artistically decorated with autumn flowers. The programme was as follows: Songs, Miss M. HitcMngs; recitation in character, Miss Marjorie Mulford; songs, Mr. G. East; duet in character, Joy Mulford and Marian McLuskie; recitation, Mr. Robert Cheyne; songs, Miss Kathleen Fuller; songs, Mr. Ken McCauley; musical duologue. Miss F. George and Mrs. K. Conner; electric guitar number, Mr. D. Gilmer; recitation, Miss Nola Powell: duet, Misses Pat and Nora Hogan; recitation, Miss Olive Gray. The accompanist was Miss Freitag. - Miss,- Mulford thanked ’ the performers for their contributions to a very successful evening. Mrs. J. C. Andersen, club president, also spoke.
