LATE MR. J. W. MOORE
Hon. F. Jones Pays Tribute To Memory The funeral took place in Karori yesterday of Mr. J. M. Moore, secretary of the Wellington Boot. Operalives’ Union and assessor lor the New Zealand Boot Operatives’ Federation. A service was held in the mortuary chapel, where a tribute to Mr. Moore’s personal qualities was paid by the Postmaster-General, Mr. Jones, who in former years had been associated with Mr. Moore as an assessor for the federation. Others present included Messrs. 11. O. Pittendrigh and W. Denby, managing director and factory manager respectively of R. Hannah and Co., Ltd., and Mr. C. A. Watts, Auckland, federation secretary, who joined with MrJones in paying a tribute to the memory of Mi". Moore. Mr. Moore bad been an employee of R. Hannah and Co., Ltd., for the past 23 years, and among the mourners were many of his old colleagues.
