Masterton
Dominion Special Service. MASTERTON, March 22. The few fat sheep yarded met strong competition and sold better than for some time at the Masterton stock sale today. The associated auctioneers offered a yarding of 2500 sheep to a small attendance. Very few good ewes came forward. Those that did sold at about par rates. Store lambs, the majority of the yarding, sold very poorly, but vendors, because of the continued dry weather, met the market.
