Wanganui
Dominion Special Service. WANGANUI, March 22. A moderate entry in all sections except for the store cqttle section, in which there were no entries, was offered by Freeman R. Jackson and Company at the weekly "Wanganui stock sale. The market generally was on a par with last week, fat sheep and fat cattle making late rates, and quite good competition resulting for all store sheep. The quality of the ewes offered was for the most part aged and poor. Porkers were, perhaps, just a shade easier, but a heavy yarding of stores met a dull market and a decided easing in values, good slips and weaners being down 5/- to 6/-. On last week’s values vealers were just a shade easier.
