THE HARRIER SEASON

Wellington Club’s Annual Meeting The annual general meeting of the Wellington Harrier Club was largely attended. The balance-sheet showed the finances to be healthy, and the retiring president, -Mr. A. R. Thomas-, congratulated the club on its efficient working. He also paid a tribute to the club champion, AV. Owens, whose running and enthusiasm would, he said, be an example for all future members. He thanked those who bad given donations in kind and in service to the club, and. specially the following, who had given invitation runs during the season: —Air. and Mrs. J. O’Brien, Mr. and Mrs. AV. Weston, Hutt Valley Harrier Club, women members, Mr. and Mrs. R. Spence, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Drawbridge, and Mr. and Mrs. F. Rowberry. 'l’he following officials were elected to fill positions for the coming season:— Patron, Mrs. AV. H. Bennett; president, Mr. P. L. Brady; vice-presidents, Mrs. W. Donaldson, Messrs. H. R. Allan, AV.
