Saturday’s Matches

The following is the draw for interelub matches to be played ou the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association’s courts in Miramar next Saturday:— Senior B men : Varsity v. Island Bay; Wadestown v. Talavera; Seatoun. v. Karori ; Wellington, a bye. Second men (final) : Technical v. Newtown. Second women : Wadestown v. Varsity; Island Bay v. Te llama; Seatoun win by default from ’Wellington. Third men (semi-finals) : Talavera v. Broadway; Wellington v. Newtown. Third women (final) : Vgrsity v. Island Bay.

Fourth (final) : Hintoul Street v. Talavera.

If the courts are unfit for play on Saturday. the above matches will be played ou Sunday.

Wellington Club

'The Wellington Tennis Club held another mixed double yaukee tournament on Sunday. A large number of players participated, and the games were keenly contested. 'l’he winner, among the women, was Miss M. Broadbent, with Miss L. Akel second. Of the men, J. Robb was the winner, and G. A. Pearce the runner-up. Trophies were presented to the winners.
