FOURTH WELLINGTON SALE
Tomorrow’s Prospects
The fourth Wellington wool sale of the 1938-39 season will be held iu the Town Hall tomorrow, starting at. 8 a.m. A total of 24,323 bales will be offered. It is expected by those iu the trade that prices will show little change generally on those ruling at the third Wellington sale held on February 15. 'The disturbed international outlook, however, may have a last-minute effect ou prices, though so tar the London and 'Sydney sales give no indication of any downward trend in the market. Tomorrow’s offering comprises average top-making wools. All sections of the trade are expected to operate, and good competition- is again expected from Bradford and the Continent. Growers this season have shown a general to meet the market, and good clearances have been effected at. all sales. In view of the unsettled international outlook, it would appear prudent for growers to continue this policy. Brokers catalogues, in the order of sale, are as follows: — , Bales.
