Most Finals Decided
Most of the finals in the Hutt Valley Lawn Tennis Association's competitions were concluded on Saturday. Those decided were:—Senior A. Lower Hut'; senior B, Randwick: junior north, eastern : junior south. Wilford ; third grade, St. Stephen's; fourth north, Lower Hutt; fifth. St. Augustine's. The junior section finalists. Eastern and AA iliord will meet in Lower Hutt next Saturday. The fourth south final will be ' decided in Waiwetu next Saturday between St. Stephen's and Waiwetu. Saturday's results are : — Senior A. Muritai beat Hutt Bowling: Lower Hutt A 12: Eastern 4; Petone A 14. Waiwetu Lower Hutt B 13, Petone B 3. Senior B. Burnside 12, Taita -I; Muritai beat Lower Hutt; Waiwetu won by default from 1 rentham; Randwick 10, Upper Hutt 6 Junior North Section. Central 13, St. Peter and St. Paul's 3; Eastern 12, Hutt Bowling 4: M "stern 9, Lower Hutt 0; St. James 11, Waiwetu u. Junior South Section. St. Augustine’s A 15. Pononga 1: Muritai won by default from Petone. Third Grade. Eastern won by default from Central: Western 10, Taita 6; Randwick won by default from Trentham; St. Stephens 14. Lower Hutt 2. Fourth North Section. Lower Hutt 13, Hutt Bowling 3: Upper Hutt 11, St. James 5; Burnside 8. St. Peter and St. Paul’s 7. Fourth South Section. St. Augustine’s won by default trom Central; St. Stephen’s 10, Wilford 6; Randwick 12 Western 4; Waiwetu 16. Pononga 0. Fifth Grade. Raudwick 16. Pononga 0; Lower Hutt 9, Koro Koro 7; Methodist 11, bt. James 5; St. Augustine’s 14. Western 2.
