WAIMATE ANNUAL MEETING

Well-filled Fields For Today Dominion Special Service. CHRISTCHURCH, March 17. The Waimate Racing Club will hold its annual race meeting on the Waimate racecourse tomorrow. All the fields are well filled and some good class horses- are engaged. The track is expected to provide fast but not hard going. The single pool system will be in use and the following horses may be well supported :— Studholme Highweight Handicap: Pladie and Jewish Lad. Trial Plate: Ferriby and Asset. Waimate Cup: Alma and Petersham. Morven Trot: Pursuit and Swift Lady. Waitangi Hack Handicap: Epic and Plumage, President's Handicap: Kilrobe and Golden Chest. Hook Trot: Pursuit, and Braw Lass. Stewards’ Hack Handicap: Aggravate and Steer Clear. The card is:—
