Basstian broke her own record for the 100 yards women’s free style, by finishing in 68 2-5, while in the 220yds, women's free style she chopped 18 seconds off her previous record, her time being The men's champion, P. H. McGrath, lowered the 440y<i's. record, his time being 5.53 l-t». A. W. Wesney, diving champion, P. H. McGrath and Miss Basstian, have been selected to take part in the New Zealand championships at Auckland. The selected swimmers have been breaking New Zealand standard times during the trials.
