.O Masterton Sale Dominion Special Service. Mastei’ton, January 31. Competition for all lines offered at the Masterton sale yesterday by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., was quite, keen, , and prices realised were on a par with those riding atj late sales. The firm submitted a good yarding to a large attendance of buyers, clearing the offering at the following range of prices:— Sheep: Mixed aged ewes, 21/-; fat ewes. 15/6; b.f. rape lambs, 13/1, 14/7. to 15/-; forward ewes, 11/- to 1.2/10; medium lambs. 12/1; cull ewes, 7/8 to 9/-: cull lambs. 8/-.
Eketahuna Sale ' Masterton, January 31. Competition was fairly keen at Dalgety and Co.. Ltd.’s Eketahuna sale today,: which was well attended. Prices were:—loB 5-year ewes, 16/9; 161 b.f. lambs, 16/4; 30 do., 13/8; 9 do.. 10/4; 23 small shorn wether lambs, 6/-; 12 small shorn ewe lambs, 7/-; 3 one-shear S.D. rams. 2 at 1} guineas, 1 at 2 guineas.
