CRIMINALS AT LARGE

Prison-Breaker and Wanted Man Leslie George Barminter, who escaped from Papakai prison camp in rhe National Park district on Tuesday evening with a Public Works Department motor-lorry, has not been recaptured yet. ,No further news has been received of the man believed to be Herbert Maxfield, wanted qii charges of breaking, entering and theft, who jumped from an express train into the Wairoa River on Wednesday. Both men,have criminal records.
