J)OUGLAS FAIRBANKS’S new pic
ture, “The Private Life of Don Juan,” shortly to be released by United Artists, contains the most sensationally beautiful girls ever gathered together for a motion picture. A large east was required for Don Juan’s - many loves, and it was determined that every girl, even those taking the smallest parts, should be notable for her beauty. The east is headed by Benita Hume, who, as the scheming wife, Dolores, has never looked more beautiful in her gorgeous Goya costume and mantilla. Merle Oberon, one of the most unusual and most discussed personalities in the film world to-day, plays Pepilla, a dancer. Birihie Barnes is a lovely and witty Spanish barmaid in the inn where Don Juan is in hiding under tiie name of Captain Mariano. She will sing a short Spanish song in her attractive husky voice. Joan Gardner plays the part of Carmen de Alcala who falls in love with Roderigo, a successful impersonator of Don Juan.
