ARCHITECT’S CLAIM
Alterations to Building' A claim for £Bl/10/- for professional services in preparing plans and specifications for alterations and additions to defendant’s shop and residence was brought by Colin S. Maynard, architect, against John J. Benge, butcher, of Karori, in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Mr. O. C. Mazengarb appeared for plaintiff, and Mr. W. B. Brown for defendant. The defence was that the work was not skilfully done and that the plans did not comply with the bylaws. Mr. E. Page, S.M., who was op the bench, reserved his decision after hearing evidence from both sides.
