CHAIRMAN RESIGNS
By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, January 29. At a meeting of the New Zealand Cycling Federation the chairman (Mr. W. J. Walter) wrote tendering his resignation from office on the ground that he felt he could be of more service to the sport of cycling as an active administrator than as an independent chairman holding office under conditions preventing him from taking part in the organisation of the sport. Mr. Walter’s, resignation was accepted with regret, and the question’ of appointing a chairman in succession was deferred until the next meeting.
