A NEW VITAMIN
Swedish Discovery A new vitamin, twelfth in the order of those previously discovered, and resembling but in no way identical with Vitamin C, is reported to have been discovered by Professor von Euler and bis assistants at the Stockholm University laboratories as a result of experiments on guinea pigs. The new vitamin is to be found in the juices of lemons and black currants, and it is believed that it will prove a valuable protection against infection from bacilli affecting the lungs, particularly the germ which causes pneumonia
