TRANSPORT TO EASTBOURNE
Special timetables with steamers and buses at frequent, intervals have been arranged for the ferry and omnibus services to Day’s Bay and Eastbourne from Wellington to-day. On the 8.31) a.m. trip only of the Muritai from Wellington a concession fare has been arranged as an inducement of early travel to the bays and to afford families the opportunity of a pleasant day’s outing at a low cost. To-morrow another of the popular daylight harbour excursions will be run. and this trip is likely to be well patronised. On Saturday next a moonlight harbour excursion will be held and will thus give on opportunity of a pleas, ant outing to the many who were unable to make the trip last Saturday.
