SOUNDS CRUISE
Dancing, talkies, deek games and other shipboard amusements, as well as boating, fishing, bathing and picnicking, will do away with any dull moments among the passengers by the Marama on her cruise to the Marlborough Sounds and D’Urville Island. Thc vessel will leave Wellington at 8 p.m. next Monday, and arrive back on the morning of the following Friday. The first evening will be spent in a dance at anchor in the harbour, so that passengers may get to know one another, the Marama leaving for D’Urville Island about 11 p.m. Port Hardy, Ship Cove, with its wealth of tree-ferns and memorial to Captain Cook, the Grove Reach of Queen Charlotte Sound, Kenepuru Sound, and Tennyson Inlet, Pelorus Sound, where there will be held the grand fancy dress ball which will include the entertainment on the cruise, will all be places of Call.
