EXTRAORDINARY GAME
England Wins Cricket Test GRANT’S GAMBLE FAILS Barbados, January 10. England won the ’Test with West Indies by four wickets. The pitch was again drenched overnight. West Indies resumed at 3.30 in tlie afternoon on a glue-pot, due to the sun, and lost three wickets in a quarter of an hour, whereupon Grant audaciously declared. Excitement was intense as the English wickets were falling, but Wyatt filled the breach, keeping up his wicket, while Hammond knocked off the runs.
