Messenger’s Wrist Wound

Falling from a ladder into a glass showcase early yesterday afternoon, Stanley Roberts, aged 14, of 32 Kauri Street, Miramar, a messenger, received a severe wound on his right wrist. He was taken by the Free Ambulance to the hospital from business premises in Victoria Street, Severe concussion was suffered by Mr. J. Brittain, of 49 Rotherham Terrace, Miramar, when he fell from a tramcar in Coutts Street, opposite Rongotai College, last evening. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance, "and his condition was reported last night to be satisfactory.
