The Iliad colt, Homer (who at Randwick scored his second successive win in three starts, nfter a great race with Ben Field and others), is, individually, the finest colt of his age the writer has seen out this season, says "Pilot.'’ He may very well prove the best three-year-old of 1935. He is a big and powerful chestnut, showing all the best qualities of the typical English thoroughbred. He is as big as the average three-year-old, possessing excellent bone, and being strongly knit all through. ,He is one of the most impressive colts of his age we have seen, and he should turn out a stayer.
