Bacon Factory Accident

As the result of a knife slipping while he was at work in a bacon factory in Dixon Street, Mr. D. McDonald, 2 Mansfield Street, Newtown, received a severe wound on his left forearm, and was taken by the Free Ambulance to hospital.

Eric Foster, aged’ 8, of 19 Luxford Street. Berhampore, while swinging on a rope, fell and broke his left forearm yesterday morning. The Free Ambulance took him from his home to hospital. Falling from some machinery which he was assembling in No. 1 shed, Queen's Wharf. Wellington, at 4.45 p.m. yesterday, Jlr. G. Wickes, of Palmerston North a salesman, injured one of his ankles aud was taken to hospital by the ambulance.
