ABYSSINIA’S APPEAL
Request to League of Nations SAFEGUARDING OF PEACE Bv Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, January 3. Abyssinia has requested the League to apply Article Eleven of the Covenant, permitting action directed at safeguarding peace. Italy still denies aggression. The Secretary-General of the League has telegraphed Abyssinia urging every peaceful measure.
