Heavy rain during the night and early :his morning'held up play in the South Island tennis championships, a start not being made till this afternoon. As a result only three linals were played. Baton (Timaru). 6-3, 6-5. MURITAI TOURNEY Further List of Results The east harbour tennis tournament ■ will be continued to-morrow at 1.30 panon the Muritai club courts, and on Suncay it is expected the finals will be contested.
