ANTI-AIRCRAFT FORCE
Reported British Scheme BODY OF 40,000 MEN (Received December 30, 6.30 p.m.) London, December 30. The “Dally Telegraph” says that a scheme is being prepared to turn a large part of the territorial force into antiaircraft divisions. It is considered that 40,000 officers and men may be necessary to provide an adequate network of air defence. Regulars are too costly.
