UNREGISTERED PLUMBERS

DEPUTATION TO MINISTER. Introduced by Mr. P. Fraser, ALP., a deputation front the Plumbers and Gasfitters’ Union waited on the Minister of Health (Hon. J. A. Young) last night with respect to the deferred prosecutions against unregistered men. It was urged that if the City Council chose to ignore its own by-laws in the matter, the Minister shoal 1 enforce the general law under the Plumbers’ Registration Act. The Minister promised to convey the representations to the Plumbers’ Board and the Health Department, who would take whatever action they deemed necessary.
