GOOD PAY OUT. Marton, February 22. Cheltenham Dairy Co. is advancing Is. 3d. per lb for January butterfat. 2-15 tons were manufactured as against 2104 tons in the same month of January, 1927. Butter manufactured for the seven months ending January was 1234 tons, as against 1029 tons. The average January grade for butter was 93.75. The company has carried the following resolution: “Having now given the measure (Daylight Saving) a fair trial, we are convinced that it causes undue hardships on all sections of the farming community, especially upon women am] children. We resolve to urge strongly against its future enactment, and to make our views known to the Prime Minister.”
