PARTNERSHIP ALLEGED
ACTION IN SUPREME COURT. Palmerston North, February 15. In tlie Palmerston North Supreme Court this afternoon Mr. Justice Ostler was engaged in hearing a claim by Edward William Garner, accountant, of New Plymouth, and Alary Alice Honeyfield, widow, of Te Awamutu, that in 1924 a verbal agreement was entered upon by the late Charles Edward Honeyficld and defendant, Frank Ernest Harrison, farmer, of Feilding, that a partnership be entered upon in the farming business carried on by defendant in Te Awamutu. It was alleged by plaintiffs, the executors and trustees of the late Mr. Honey field’s estate, that defendant had received all proceeds arising from the sale of all partnership assets sold, and thaj; the sum of £l7Ol Ils. 4d. was owing by defendant to plaintiffs. For the defence it was denied that anv sum was owing. Defendant had given plaintiffs all the information in respect to the partnership business, and had always been willing that the partnership accounts be taken. Considerable evidence was heard by His Honour in the afternoon, and the case proved lengthy. The Court was adjourned until to-morrow, when the case will be proceeded with.
