RAILWAY ROUND TRIP
The Railway Department will give another opportunity for a round trip through Wellington Province on Sunday. The last excursion of this kind was very well patronised, nearly 500 persons making the trip. The large number, however, was very well catered for throughout, and the comfortable chair-seated carriages gave everyone a fine opportunity for seeing the many interesting sights en 1 route, not the least being the four-mile journey down the Incline. The catering arrangements have been well attended to, and it will be possible to obtain all the usual picnic food at a stall in the Alanawatu Gorge. The excursion train will leave Lambton at 8 a.m., Fetone at 8.14 a.m., and arrive at Thorndon at 8.34 p.m.. Petoiie and Hutt Valley passengers then join the 8.45 train at Lambton.
