PTOMAINE POISONING

MASTERTON CASES. Masterton. February 7. Two residents of Masterton, Mr. and Mrs. R. Sparkman, are at present suffering from what is believed to be ptomaine poisoning. After partaking of dinner yesterday they became ill, Mr Spackman having to be conveyed home from work. Medical assistance was •lecessarv for both husband and wife. Mr. Spackman being so seriously affected that he had to be admitted to the Public Hospital. It is reported to-day that the condition of the patients is improved.
