THE DAWES PLAN
PAYMENTS BY GERMANY STABILISATION BENEFITS BEING REALISED London, December 5. The Agent-General for Reparations reports that Germany in 1925-26, which is the second year of the Dawes Plan, paid 1167 million marks, of which France received 512 millions, the British Empire 228 millions, and the United States 34 millions. The report adds that German economy is realising the benefits of stabilisation. It extols her co-operation with the Allies in working our a plan. She came through the year with honour, paying £60,000,000 out of her own resources.
