During the trial of Manchester doctors, Arthur Holden aud Frederick Webster, for the alleged manslaughter of a young unmarried woman who died suddenly at Webster’s surgery, PoliceInspector Blenkinsop, one of the chief Crown witnesses, was asked why he attempted to commit suicide after the case arose. Blenkinsop said it was because lie was disrated for not arresting the doctors. Blenkinsop further admitted that he wrote on a slate the statements of the two doctors, but coulfl not explain who had since rubbed them out.
