In a. head-on collision between a inotor-car and a motor-cycle at Akaroa on Saturday afternoon, Stanley Harrington, a pillion nder on the motorcycle, had his right leg broken. The''vehicles met at a corner, where the view was obscured by a 12-foot bank. A motor-car, driven by Mr. J. Read, was travelling along Long Bay road, and the motor-cycle, ridden by Mr. Roy Harrington, with his brother Stanley on the carrier, going to Takamatua. •
