SHUNTER FATALLY INJURED

■ SLIPPED BENEATH WAGON. Dominion Special. Christchurch, November 29. VVhile assisting in shunting operations at the Christchurch Railway Station shortly before 8 o’clock , on Saturday night, Hugh Cameron, a married man, aged 34, residing at 38 Forth Street, Richmond, slipped ■ under a wagon near the goods shed and received injuries to the head and body which proved fatal in a few moments. He was dead when removed from beneath the wagon. An inquest was opened yesterday and adjourned.
