TENTERFIELD TRAGEDY
FOLLOWED “ DOMESTIC QUARREL. (Rec. November 29, 10.45 p.m.) Sydney, November 29. At an inquest into the Tenterfield tragedy the evidence revealed that on the day of the tragedy Milton had a violent quarrel with his wife, who accused him of improper relations with a former servant girl. Before this the family had lived very happily. [Constable Milton, ' his wife, and three children were found dead in a burning house at Teuterfield. Police investigations showed that the heads of the wife and children had been battered with some blunt instrument, and there was a bullet wound in Milton’s head.]
