MANAWATU GORGE CLEARED
USUAL TRAFFIC TO COMMENCE ON MONDAY
The Railway Department announced last night that the blockage at the Manawatu Gorge would be cleared by Mondav morning, when traffic would be normal once again. The Napier express train will now go via Palmerston North as usual, instead of taking tinWairarapa route, which has been tli< case since the blockage first occurred.
