For the past twenty-four hours the greater part of England has been enveloped in a dense fog, and it is forecasted that it will continue to-morrow The traffic all over London is complicated. The train, tram, and bus schedules have been upset. Flares appeared in the most congested parts oi London for the guidance of drivers. Six collisions have occurred, involving two trains ano six trams, buses, and private vehicles. Several people were injured. The worst instance was when two London-Essex trains collided. Seventy people were slightly hurt. A vast army of" torch carriers has been called for service to-night to aid the omnibuses.
