OIL IN ALBERTA
POSSIBLE RIVAL TO CALIFORNIA. Vancouver, November 18. An important strike of gas, indicating what may be a great oil well, has been made in the Turner Valley district, South-west Alberta. There is much excitement over the development, and optimists are hopeful that the field will be a rival of the Califemian fealdt.—Sxdnax “Sun”
