Hall, of Wellington, who has been in Napier, is now spending a few davs in Palmerston North. 'Mr. J. Robertson, of Wanganui, ts on a visit to Napier. Dr. Chappell is spending a few days in Palmerston North. Mr. T. H. Nixon, of Wanganui, who is leaving the district to take up residence in Palmerston North, was met bv a larcre number of business men. Among those present was the Mayor (Mr. Hope Gibbons), who added his tribute to Mr. Nixon’s good citizenship. Mr. Nixon was presented with a handsome case of cutlery as a mark of esteem.
