THREE SELECTORS APPOINTED. Dominion Special. Auckland, November 17. A meeting of the Auckland Cricket Association was evenly divided on the question of one as against three selectors tor the representative season, and the casting vote of the chairman had to be invoked to settle the question. Mr. Carlton Hay’s deciding vole went in favour of tiie existing system of three selectors. Messrs. E. C. Beale, G. 8.. Cummings, and N. C. Snedden were then appointed selectors for 1926-27. tt was reported that F. W. Matthews s bat for the first player to register a century iu the association’s competitions had been awarded to Beechcy. of the Papak-ira second grade team, this player having made 103 not out against University last Saturday.
