MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Messrs. J. Staples and J. W. Ellison, J.P.’s, dealt with police cases in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. A further remand to November 21 was granted in the case of Martin Thomas Adams, who was charged with making a false receipt for J? 4 155., purporting to be signed by James Kent, with the intention that it should be acted upon as genuine. An adjournment for one month was granted in the case of William James Blackman, a seaman (aged 27), who wa? charged with a breach of his probationary license in that he failed to make complete restitution of tts 10s., the vnliio of a bicycle stolen in October, 1924.
