THE JEWISH NATION IN PROPHECY

An address entitled “Outlines of the History of the Jews as Related to Prophecy” will be given in the Maranatha Hall, 125 Lambton Quay (over A.B.C. Garage) to-day at 7.45 p.m. by the Rev. H. E. Wallis M.A. Mr. Wallis, who is a graduate of Cambridge University, is an excellent Greek and Hebrew scholar and a lecturer of some < istinetion. The Jews are a most wonderful people, and their persistence in the face of persecution baffles human intelligence to comprehend or understand. The genius of tho Jew is a commonplace end .heir contributions to modern science, art, music, drama, literature, journalism, finance, and philosophy is well nigh incalculable. As the subject is of such interest it is anticipated that all who possibly can will avail themselves of the opportunity of hearing Mr. Wallis.
